The 23-year-old Dubliner said he always knew 'Game of Thrones' star Jack had never warmed to fame.

"He enjoyed it but it was obvious he didn't like that fame stuff," Aaron said.

While he became recognisable as drug squad member Gavin in the fourth season of 'Love/Hate', Aaron told the Irish Independent he has yet to experience anything like the attention Jack has received from starring in the hit HBO series – but finds it amusing when people come up to him and assume he's a guard.

"I haven't felt the pangs of recognition like Jack has!" says Aaron. "I have yet to experience that, I suppose."

The actor was taking part in the annual 24-Hour Plays at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin last night, which raises funds for the Dublin Youth Theatre.

Other actors joining him on stage included Domhnall Gleeson and Kelly Campbell.
