Move over Kim K, Gerry Adams releasing 'Little Book of Tweets' with top tweets and selfies
Move over Kim Kardashian, Gerry Adams is releasing a 'Little Book of Tweets' featuring his best tweets and selfies.
The Sinn Fein president is quite a prolific and witty tweeter and has accumulated an impressive 96,7000 followers.
The collection of his twitticisms and select selfies will go on sale on the Sinn Fein website at the end of January, priced €8.99.
Speaking to the Irish Daily Star about his social media presence last year, he said, "I argue with conviction about an issue I am convinced of but I would like to think that I don't take myself too seriously.
"I did see a one-legged dog. And I do like teddy bears. People keep giving me rubber ducks. I have a grandchild who now says to me, 'not another duck!'"
The blurb for his collection says, "His tweets range across the political and the personal, the serious and the humorous, often featuring rubber ducks and teddy bears! This little book shows the lighter side of his personality and allows the reader some insight into his private life. The inevitable selfies are included showing that many years experience of politics have taught him not to take himself too seriously!”
