Chevy Stevens is the pseudonym of former Canadian realtor Rene Unischewski, who stormed the bestseller lists in 2011 with Still Missing.

This, her third novel, features once again middle-aged psychiatrist Dr Nadine Lavoie. Now working at the Psychiatric ICU in Victoria, British Columbia, Dr Lavoie is treating a young woman who has attempted suicide three times.

She discovers Heather has been a member of a commune run by Aaron Quinn, a man whose malign influence she knows only too well. As a child she and her brother lived in a previous commune he ran, which has had shattering consequences on her personal life.

As memories flood back she finds her mental health threatened, and her questions put her and her runaway daughter in serious peril. Disturbing and suspenseful.
