By Zeus! 7'4 Great Dane and 2’6 bull from Armagh in latest Guinness Book of Records

A GREAT Dane called Zeus, which is 7 feet 4 inches tall on his hind legs, has been named the tallest dog ever to be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The canine eats a 14-kG, 30 pound, bag of food every day and weighs 70.3 kilogrammes, the 57th edition of the global says.

Measuring 1.12 metres (44 inches) from paw to withers – he breaks the record of another Great Dane called Giant George who is one inch shorter.

In addition, according to the latest edition of the book, Oklahoma Sam, a four-year-old American Mammoth Jackstock, is the tallest living donkey on the planet.

She measures 1.55 metres (5 feet 1 inch) from hoof to withers.

The Guinness Book of Records claims to reveal "the latest and greatest records in the universe".

Other additions include the oldest PE teacher in the world who is 86 and the smallest bull in the world which lives in Co Armagh.
