'Which Irish boyband features Nicky, Mark, Kian, and Shane? Boyzone!' - Late Late Show quiz doesn't quite go to plan

Last night's Late Late Show featured actress Linda Gray, Oliver Callan and the Saw Doctors but it was the audience quiz that really got people talking.
The three contestants were called down from their audience seats Price is Right style to compete to win a Renault Clio.
Therese from Co Meath, Bernie from Laois, and James from Meath had to answer simple questions in order to accumulate boxes which contained key fobs, one of which would open the car.
James was first to slip up when he didn't know Phil Linnot was the lead singer with Thin Lizzy. Then two politics questions stumped Bernie and Therese.
James guessed, wrongly, that the wife of the President of Ireland was called Maureen.
Therese struggled to remember who Martin O'Neill took over from as the manager of the Irish soccer team.
"It's the foreign guy," she said, wracking her brain. "Tony!"
Bernie was then asked what MMA stands for, the sport played by Conor McGregor.
"MMA? I thought it was WWW..." she said.
When James was asked about the All Ireland hurling final, he laughed, "You didn't pick three good people for this quiz!"
The trio managed to correctly answer questions about Irish geography, but the quiz was taking much longer than expected.
"Tell the other guests I'll be a while!" quipped Tubridy.
Things slowed up again when he asked Therese which Irish actress played the lead in Brooklyn. It is of course Saoirse Ronan but Therese thought it was Roisin Kiernan.
"Who's that?" asked Tubs, "Somebody from down the road?"

Bernie generated quite a few giggles from teh audience when Tubs asked, "Which Irish boyband featured Nicky, Kian, Mark and Shane?" and she confidently answered, "Boyzone!"
It was, of course, Westlife.

"The car's feeling like an 89D at this stage," quipped Tubs.
However, the trio managed to answer the final few questions correctly and earned themselves several boxes each. They then pressed their fobs to see who won the car.
James came up trumps, despite answering the fewest questions correctly.
"Do I still get the spa break with this as well?" he asked Tubs.
Tubridy bundled him into the car and laughed, "Take your spa break and get out of my sight!" which was perhaps the viewers' sentiments too!
