Weatherman sacked after he adds farting noises to a forecast about a windy day
A TV weatherman has reportedly been fired after he added fart noises to a live forecast.
Hungarian presenter Szilard Horvath added the sound effects to a report about a particularly windy day but his employers, TV2, failed to see the funny side.
The clip of the offending forecast was removed from the TV channel's website and Horvath was relieved of his duties, just a year after he had been drafted in to boost the weather segment.
He took to Facebook on Monday to voice his disappointment.
“If Mr Bean or Benny Hill farts, everyone laughs, but now a big deal is being made about this,” he said.
“It’s turned out I can’t do the weather on TV2 any more … I need to find work."
He posted his contact details and asked people to help to find him a new job.
