A group of Irish children were invited to review old Irish TV programmes and their reactions are priceless.

The review was hosted by YouTube channel YouthTube and sees a group of hilariously unimpressed children try to make sense of 90's TV staples' Glenroe, Bosco and The Den.

Glenroe appeared to be "an olden-day farm with a terrible camera" to one child, while another criticised it for its theme tune, saying "It's the worst music ever. I would not dance to it."

Bosco, "the creepy doll", didn't fare much better, with one child daring to find reason in one of life's biggest mysteries: "Why does he live in a box? Is it because he's a jack-in-the-box?"

The overall assessment of Bosco wasn't positive and many of the children were confused as to why the show was so popular.

"To be honest, it looks a bit boring," said one.

Then came The Den, which was "creepy as hell",

Most had never heard of Dustin and Zig and Zag (do you feel old now?).

However, lot of the children identified Ray D'Arcy and seemed to be delighted to see him.

"That's Ray D'Arcy," squealed one excited viewer.

"Oh my God, he's the best. He's like Tom Cruise."

Overall, The Den received mixed reviews from the group.

"It's a bit too loud," said one child, while another added: "It's really funny. I wish this show was on now."

One boy even tried to guess how the show would pan out.

"It's endless talk and I guess someone just bangs into the wall and dies."

Right so.
