As soon as the sun's rays come shining through, out come the flip-flops, factor 50 and O'Neill's shorts complete with decades-old grass stains.

We get excited, a little bit too excited perhaps but who could blame us? Summer lasts approximately six days in Ireland. We're Vitamin D deprived.

So we camp out in the back garden, grab an old bed sheet to use as a beach towel, throw a few cushions around for ambience, grab the Tayto multipack and litre of Club Orange (you'd be parched in the heat) and bask in the warm glow of the sun's wonderful rays.

And it feels glorious until 15 minutes later when we're reminded why we shouldn't be out in the sunshine.

Our skin turns a painful shade of pink and the third-degree burns set in.

The lads from Giddyupskits, Davy O'Neill and Trevor O'Neill, understand his Irish problem and have summed up what every Irish person is feeling right now in their hilarious sketch.
