If you need to be roused from your Bank Holiday slumber then check out this video - we defy you to resist tapping those toes!

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 kicks off in Ennis on Sunday August 13 with an official opening performance by the legendary Michael Flatley who will play the flute with uileann piper and composer Gerard Fahy.

Musicians, singers and dancers will compete to be crowned All Ireland champion and to celebrate this amazing event, which returns to Ennis following a hugely successful event last year, Clare FM in association with Traceys West County Hotel in Ennis organised a flash mob of Irish dancers at Shannon Airport.

Members of John Fennell's School of Set Dance enthralled the crowd with what started as a small group of dancers which expanded into a thundering troupe.

Feast your eyes and ears on the video above.
