Never work with children or animals...
Australian Network Nine reporter Brittany Kleyn hadn't intended to work with animals when she was set to do a live broadcast for the station, but it happened anyway.
Moments before the broadcast kicked off, a friendly parrot descended upon her shoulder, which seems like a pretty cute thing to happen, but it didn't sit well with Brittany.
Her feathered friend Lola, who had escaped from her owner Michelle Mills, didn't mean any harm but Brittany screamed in panic.
"I was not expecting that! I can't get it off me, Oh my God can you please get it off me! It's not funny Berger!" she roared before her cameraman came to her rescue.
After the video went viral Michelle was reunited with Lola.
"I did a big letterbox drop and people told me they'd seen my bird on the news," she said.
Michelle introduced Brittany to Lola in a calmer manner later on and Brittany tweeted that she and Lola were now "besties".
