A bride and groom have completed the #IceBucketChallenge on their wedding - in all their wedding finery.
A wedding is a day that some couples spend thousands of euro on. The dress is one of the biggest preoccupations for excited brides, and some can get very... particular about their perfect dress.
Not Geraldine McKeown, though.
Geraldine and her new husband Robert, who had married earlier that day in a civil ceremony at the Lucan Spa Hotel, completed the Ice Bucket Challenge at their wedding reception surrounded by friends and family.
Geraldine spoke on why they chose to do the Ice Bucket Challenge on their wedding day. "I wanted to do this for such a special cause... keep donating!"
Staff threw two buckets of ice cold water over the newly-weds, soaking them to the skin. Hotel staff rushed to give Geraldine a towel.
Robert nominated some of his groomsmen to take the challenge next - no word on whether or not they did it immediately in their suits!
The Lucan Spa Hotel posted a video of the challenge to their Facebook page before the couple could post the official version - but we're sure this low-key couple don't mind.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over €350,000 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) and over €15m for the ALS Foundation in America.
Text MND to 50300 to donate €2.
