Forget fetch, this little dog loves jump rope

A group of children in a Rio de Janeiro slum were recently spotted with a surprisingly accommodating furry friend.

Out enjoying a day of jumping rope, the youngsters, somehow, were able to enlist the assistance of a friendly dog who was kind enough to lend them its snout.

Ricardo Cavalcante, who uploaded footage, said what made the scene extra sweet was that the kids were completely oblivious to how utter charming their arrangement with their canine pal was.

“Bolinha, or Little Ball, is a beloved character in the neighbourhood, and is considered to be a shared pet who is visited and fed by everyone,” he said.

“She's frequently seen out having a good time with the kids — though she's not always so helpful, as when the kids are in the street playing ball, she gets in the middle and hinders the game."
