Irish Twitter users have reacted to the news that Donald Trump has cancelled his Irish visit.

The Republican presidential candidate was scheduled to pay a visit to his golf and hotel resort in Doonbeg, County Clare next week.

However, information released by Trump's press team has failed to show any Irish leg to his trip, according to website IrishCentral.com.

His itinerary showed only direct flights to and from Scotland and internal flights within Scotland to visit his two golf courses.

Naturally, Irish people aren't too upset by the news of the cancellation. In fact, they're pretty delighted.

They took to Twitter to share their feelings on the whole thing.
