There’s more people than usual walking around with their heads down and eyes glued to their phones thanks to the new Pokémon Go game.

A news anchor in Florida was so engrossed in the game that she didn’t even notice that she had interrupted a live weather forecast in an effort to catch a Pokémon.

Allison Kropff, an anchor for WTSP, walked right across the screen with her eyes glued to her phone while weather man Bobby Deskins tried to read the forecast.

Deskins tried his best to remain composed and continue presenting, saying “She’s looking for Pokemon!” while trying to conceal his laughter.

“You guys have got to be careful with these phones and this Pokémon. You're just walking around all over the place,” he then said to the camera.

Kroppf later posted a video of the incident on Twitter, saying: “The moment you realise you may be addicted to Pokemon Go…”
