RTE News' coverage of the Big Freeze of 2010 made a celebrity out of an unfortunate passer-by in a well-timed accident.
RTE was filming 'vox pops' about the treachorous conditions on Dublin's Church Street, close to the Four Courts, when a man was picked up on camera, rounding a corner and slipping on the glassy ice before crashing to the pavement and exclaiming: "Oh s***".
A number of Facebook groups were established to try and identify the 'Ice Fall Guy' or 'The Man Who Slipped On The Ice on the Six One', with numerous members of the social networking site claiming to be the Internet star to taste some of his fame.
The man in question, was finally identified as being from being from Navan, Co Meath. A dedicated Facebook site titled 'We have found the RTE fall guy' was set up with a link to his own personal page.
His life was changed forever but his fans were left with many questions.
Who was he really? What was he doing by the Four Courts that day? Why did he have to suffer?
Comedy trio Fupin Eejits have managed to shed some light on some of these most pressing questions as we head into the six-year anniversary of that infamous event.
