WATCH: Laughter breaks out in White House press briefing as Sean Spicer interrupted by NFL star
A clip from yesterday's White House press briefing has gone viral - and not for a gaffe made by Sean Spicer.
The daily briefing was brought to a halt on Wednesday when New England Patriots' player Rob Gronkowski interrupted Press Secretary Spicer in the middle of his meeting.
Peeping out from behind a partition, Gronkowski, nicknamed Gronk, said: "Sean, you need some help?".
Spicer, who has become infamous for his controversial statements, seemed taken aback but quickly replied: "I think I got this. But thank you."
"You sure,” said Gronkowski, to laughter and some applause from the White House press corps.
"Thanks, man. I’ll see you in a minute," replied Spicer, a self-confessed Patriots fan.
"That was cool … how do you follow that?"
