It looks like we can add dancing to the list of things Donald Trump isn't "terrific" at.

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania's performance at the Freedom Inaugural Ball at the Washington Convention Center wasn't exactly your traditional first dance, but then again, nothing is when it comes to the Trumps.

The couple, who have been married for 12 years, swayed from side to side avoiding eye contact as they danced to a rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way and took breaks from dancing in order to wave to the crowd.

The 45th President of the United States also took the opportunity to fist pump.

Let's remind ourselves of the opening line of My Way, shall we?

"And now the end is near..."
