WATCH: Daredevil caught on camera water skiing down flooded Tipperary road
A North Tipperary road which has been heavily flooded and impassable during recent storms has been put to another use by local punters.
A daredevil has been caught on camera waterskiing along the N65 near Lorrha. The video was filmed by local man Oisin Harding and has been viewed more than 500,000 times in less than a day.
"Been [sic] real Irish about things," he wrote on his Facebook page. The video has been shared more than 6,500 times.
One local said the road has been flooded since Storm Desmond earlier this month and called on the council to intervene.
According to AA Roadwatch, a section of the road remains closed on the Portumna side of Carrigahorig, but diversions have been put in place.
