The new Dublin brand, unveiled as part of a new tourism marketing campaign by Fáilte Ireland.

The city's new brand and logo - ‘Dublin – A breath of Fresh Air’ - were unveiled today as key elements in a rebooted tourism marketing campaign. And, of course, Twitter exploded with the news.

The 'Dirty Aul Town' is now 'a breath of fresh air' but some Twitter users don't feel like the new logo reflects the capital.

One notes that 'Fresh air isn't the first thing that springs to mind when I think of Dublin, more bus fumes & the smell of Guinness brewing!' while another notes that it smells of em... 'onions.'

Even the Dublin-Cork rivalry managed to sneak into the discussion: 'Dublin. Its not Cork. Yizzer welcome'

What do you think? Is the city more than just bus fumes, Guinness and onions? Is it 'a breath of fresh air' or could we do with a better logo?
