This is when the Christmas lights will be switched on in Dublin
For some Christmas shouldn't be celebrated until the first day of December but for others, they feel the festive buzz as soon as the first autumn chill seeps in.
So depending where you fit in on the scale, you'll either find November 15 too early or just the right time to see the Christmas lights switched on.
The DublinTown team have over 20 people (elves perhaps) working 200 hours over the next four weeks to string over 1,000,000 lightbulbs and fixtures throughout Dublin.
Richard Guiney, CEO of DublinTown, said:“Putting up the Christmas lights in Dublin city centre is the most carefully planned and coordinated operation that we do each year. Through coordination with businesses in the city we identify the most suitable times to put up the Christmas lights. The lights are officially switched on the same time each year too and this year they will be switched on from Sunday, 13 November until Saturday, 7 January and we are proud that 25 million people will walk under the Christmas lights this year."
Henry and Mary Street are set to get brand new Christmas lights this year and 2.5 million people will walk under the Christmas Lights in Dublin City Centre this year alone.
Two spectacular lighting ceremony events will take place in November with special guests and performances to be announced.
