# This confusing McDonald's maths puzzle is dividing the internet

Fast food fans will surely enjoy this McDonald’s maths puzzle which has left thousands of Facebook users scratching their heads

The milkshakes, Big Macs and fries equation may appear to be simple enough to solve at first glance, but you need to take a closer look at the puzzle which has been deliberately designed to confuse people.

Can you work it out?

So what is the correct answer? It’s not obesity, as some online commentators have joked.

Answers to the tricky puzzle have ranged from 15, 17, 25, 60 and 70 – but what do you think?

To solve the problem, you must first apply the rule of BODMAS, which dictates that multiplying is worked out before division.
