Revealed: The top moments of a very unpredictable 2016 so far

We’re only five months in, but already 2016 has become one of the most unpredictable years in history.

With Leicester City beating the 5000-1 odds and winning the Premier League, Cheryl and Liam Payne coming out as a couple and Joey from Friends joining the Top Gear cast – who knows what 2016 is going to bring next.

Our own Conor McGregor came ninth in the list of the Top 10 2016 Moments for his tweet where he announced his decision to retire, before retracting it, which sent the internet into overdrive.

The UFC fighter’s social media frenzy took the lead on Kim Kardashian’s naked selfie – so much for breaking the internet, Kim.

Leicester City winning the Premiere League came first place in both the Top 2016 Moments and Top 2016 Sporting Moments in the survey carried out by Dominos across the UK and Ireland.

Liverpool beating Borussia Dortmond 4-3 and Danny Willett winning the Masters also feature on the list for the top sporting moments of the year so far. McGregor also made the sporting list, coming sixth.

Domino’s conducted the research to celebrate its latest TV ad, which sees people lost for words by the delicious taste of its pizza, and has already seen in excess of 1 million views via YouTube
