Hen and Stag company Red7 have launched a petition to get the 'mankini' emoji approved by the body which decides which emoji are included in the official keyboard.
Red7 created an emoji set for hen and stag parties which include the 'mankini', a blow-up doll and an L plate emoji.
They've launched a petition to get the 'hen and stag collection' included in the official Emoji keyboard.
Explaining the reason for the petition, Red7 said that emoji icons for a night out "just don't quite make the cut" for hen and stag parties.
"We want the emojis to be put in the official emoji keyboard. But there is a problem: We can only get the emojis included in the official keyboard after they have been approved by the Unicode Consortium.
That’s why we need your help to sign this petition which we can then take to the Unicode Consortium to get our emojis included".
The petition is already halfway to its goal. Supporters of the petition have expressed their need for the emojis, writing "There is a gap in the market" and "these emojis need to happen!"
