An 18-year-old girl got her own back on Conor McGregor after he cropped her out of a selfie.
Erin Safran from Brooklyn is a big UFC fan
She's a keen Conor McGregor supporter and recently bumped into him ahead of his UFC 205 fight against Eddie Alvarez in Madison Square Garden.
The student couldn't resist taking a photo with the UFC champion and told Buzzfeed News that McGregor was more than happy to oblige.
“He was so lovely about taking the picture with my little brother and I and then later on, my older brother," she said.
Erin proudly shared the photo on Instagram and then got a big shock when she realised McGregor had re-posted it on his page... and cropped her out.
He captioned the photo "Gucci mustard" as a nod to his designer poloneck jumper.
Erin told Buzzfeed she wasn't mad that she had been omitted from his photo: “I wasn’t sad or embarrassed at all, I was happy enough he screenshotted my own pic and took time to crop me out,” she said. “I’m glad he really liked that photo of himself. Cropped or uncropped, I love him.”
She posted the photos to Twitter, writing, “If you’re having a bad day just remember @TheNotoriousMMA cropped me out of our photo.”
Erin got her revenge by posting the photo to her account with McGregor cropped out and used one of his most famous quotes in the caption - all in good humour.
“I want to take this opportunity to apologise… to absolutely nobody,” she wrote.
