Drone films wakeboarders surfing on flooded British roads
THE recent floods in Britain posed an opportunity for three wakeboarders, who filmed themselves surfing on a flooded road in southern England using a drone.
Equipped with a surfboard, a long rope and a solid four-wheel drive, they ploughed their way through the picturesque country lanes.
A remote-controlled drone equipped with a camera recorded their antics, usually associated with Hawaii or the Atlantic, not rainy Britain.
The three, Thomas Westcott, Nick Druce and Howard Wagstaff, had originally wanted to go kiteboarding in a flooded park.
"There wasn't enough wind, so we decided to go surfing instead" Westcott said.
