The good weather has everyone in high spirits, but none more so than this thrill-seeker who attempted a bridge climb in Dublin's city centre.

A group of people gathered on Sunday afternoon to watch the mystery daredevil climb Dublin's Samuel Beckett bridge.

Friends waited below as he carefully treaded upwards on one of the capital's newer bridges.

He didn't quite make the top of the 48-metre structure, but there was time for a photo - and he managed to make it safely back to solid ground.

Could we be looking at the next Skyscraper Spiderman Alain Robert?

The Frenchman, or 'Human Spider,  is famed for climbing structures like the 540-foot Totalfina building in Paris with no climbing gear.
