'Julie's Hen Party' is looking like it might be the social event of the year after 14,000 people on Facebook clicked 'attending'.
Julie from Newcastle Upon Tyne is not a happy hen after her bridal party set up a public Facebook event which went viral.
Julie had expected just 28 friends to attend the bash but over 14,000 people on Facebook RSVP'd to the event - and invited 10,000 more.
Polls as to what to bring the unsuspecting hen have started in the group, with 'John Cena' and a 'cheeky Nandos' leading the votes.
Users have taken to the page with a tongue-in-cheek approach, posting about helping to organise entertainment ("midnight striptease") and pretending to tout tickets to the event.
Viral flutist Azeem Ward has even been dragged into the melee, with screenshots of unsoliticited messages winging their way to him and more than one meme of Sasha Baren Cohen's 'Me Julie' have been posted.
A fuming Julie wrote on the page: "What is going on?"
"I am all for people bringing friends but I only know 28 of the 12,000 people who are now apparently attending?"
"What the f**k?"
The event has no been removed from Facebook. No word on whether or not the party is still going ahead.
