Poor Billy the Big-headed Bull.

In a scene worthy of a place in a child's story book Billy managed to get his rather large head wedged in a tree.

The unfortunate incident took place when Billy was conducting his daily tour of the farm where he lives in Rugby, England yesterday morning.

The Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service had to use their winch to free the perplexed animal.

Billy's friends had no explanation as to how his head ended up embedded in the branches of a tree.

Luckily for Billy the firemen didn't need to use a sedative in order to free him from his temporary prison.

He was said to be uninjured and not fazed when he was eventually freed.

Best to keep a low profile for the next few days Billy.
