'I've already had a ponytail whipped in my face' - Funniest tweets about the Bus Strikes

More than 400,000 commuters in Dublin are being inconvenienced again today, as the row at Dublin Bus shows no sign of abating.

Yesterday's city commuters faced around 25,000 extra cars on the roads. Collisions in the city centre and several issues with alternative public transport also caused backlogs.

This morning, heavy tailbacks on the roads have been matched by severe congestion on public transport. 

By 7.45 am city-bound Luas trams were arriving at stops already full.

But, rather than complain about it, some Twitter users chose comedy to be the best medicine. Take a look at some of the funniest tweets we've seen so far:
