Well, there's an app for that. No joke.

Young Irish entrepreneur Evan Grey has created a solution so nobody has to experience the 'washing basket fear' again.

His app 'Laundrie' allows people to get their suits cleaned and clothing pressed with just a few clicks on the app.

The service will see Laundrie pick up and deliver items at any location seven days a week, at the time and date of the customer's choosing.

The Irish start-up will launch in Dublin first and will roll out nationwide in 2016.

The dry cleaning service will collect and deliver directly to the customer within a 48-hour turn around time, and there's free delivery and collection for all orders over €20.

Speaking at the launch, Evan said he was always looking for a business idea that he could adapt and scale to different cities around the world.

“Following a number of years working in the white-collar industry, I saw a gap in the market for a more convenient way to service the cleaning needs of wearing a suit 5 days a week," he said.

“Laundrie is basically like Hailo for your laundry requirements.

"Once you’ve downloaded the Laundrie app, simply select the items that require cleaning for from a pre-defined drop-down selection and Laundrie will come and collect them from you.”

The app is free to download and is now available on AppStore.

Laundrie currently employs nine staff in total, four in administration, two developers and three drivers for collection and delivery.
