An enthusiastic sales rep grappled with gravity yesterday and lost.

The man was working for CI Ebike's and was conducting a demonstration of their 'hoverboard' product in the Jervis Centre in Dublin.

However the hoverboard moved a little more quickly than he expected and he suffered the embarrassment of crashing into his stand.

He was carted off on a stretcher with members of the public speculating on Twitter that he had broken his arm.

It's a sobering fact that everyone is replaceable and sure enough there was another sales rep 'hovering' very soon after the incident occured.

The niu-III and niu-IV self balancing scooters retail at €450 – €495, and are advertised as having max speeds of 10 kilometers per hour.

They are in high demand this Christmas as Santa reviews all the letters he has received and begins to plan how he will load up his sleigh.
