They have done it again!

Dublin Fire Brigade are amongst the best when it comes to the Twitter machine. The emergency workers have managed to mix their important message of fire safety with more than a touch of humour on a weekly basis.

And this morning they unleashed another 180-character beauty.

Writing about their busy All Ireland weekend DFB said their ambulances responded to 722 emergency 999/112 calls.

They went on to say that these calls included "dozens of overdoses of the #GalwayGirl #GalvWat".

Galway beat rivals Waterford in a thrilling Croke Park encounter. Fans in the western city and the capital partied long into the night after the Tribesmen won their first All-Ireland hurling title in 29 years.
