Donald Trump lip syncing at his inauguration concert is everyone's embarrassing uncle at a wedding
Awesome party, guys.
The Make America Great Again welcome concert took place on Thursday night on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
While the celebration has been plagued by controversy with Trump's team struggling to find performers willing to perform on the night, the president looked like he was having the time of his life.
Trump and Melania kicked off the events by walking out to the Rolling Stones' 1965 hit, Heart of Stone, which includes the lyrics:
There’s been so many girls that I’ve known
I’ve made so many cry, and still I wonder why
Here comes a little girl, I see her walking down the street
She’s all by herself, I try to knock her off her feet
What’s different about her I don’t really know
No matter how I try, I just can’t make her cry
Don’t keep on looking that same old way
If you try acting sad, you’ll only make me glad
Better listen little girl, if you going walking down the street
I ain’t got no love, I ain’t the kind to meet
The show then started with performances by 3 Doors Down, Lee Greenwood, the Piano Guys and "one of the most popular artists in history”, Toby Keith (who, to be fair to him, looked pretty embarrassed by the absurd introduction).
The rest of the world may have been underwhelmed by what was happening on stage but not this man.
This man was having the best time.
