Back in 2013, Monopoly creators Hasbro replaced the much loved iron 'token' with a silver cat.

The decision was very well received by the numerous cat-fans among the army of Monopoly players worldwide.

But they wanted more.

Step forward 'Late for the Sky', a US company who have now created an entire board game filled with furry four-legged friends.

Instead of buying properties, players compete against each other in Cat-opoly to purchase cat breeds which increase in price as one circumnavigates the board.

Rather than purchasing houses, players shell out for litter boxes and then can opt to trade them in for fish bones.

Players are spared jail, and instead experience something that every self respecting cat hates - getting thrown into water!

For those who prefer dogs, there's a version called Pug-Opoly also on the market!

That's correct - an entire board game about pugs.
