Legendary actress Helen Mirren has caused a melt down on Twitter after she said it "p***ed with rain" on live television.
The 70-year-old star appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning.
Describing a holiday spent with ex-boyfriend Liam Neeson, the revered actress accidentally uttered a mild swear word causing presenters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway to blush.
Helen, who celebrated her major milestone on Sunday, was telling the duo about her love for camping and recalling a time that the weather ruined a trip with Neeson.
"I lived with him for four years and we went camping in Cornwall," she revealed.
"He loved camping as well and we had this little deux chevaux car, Liam six foot four in this deux chevaux car, his head was sticking out the top of the car really and we had our tent in the back and all our stuff and our little stove," she added.
"We get down there and we’re camping in this tiny tent, all six foot four of Liam and me and we camp in this field – just literally a field, and it p***ed with rain non stop for like three days."
Visibly shocked, Ben apologised to viewers before telling Helen, "You can’t say things like that first thing in the morning!"
Helen retaliated, "It rained a lot," before asking, "Why can’t you say that?"
"Because we’ll get fired," Kate Garraway laughed, "You might be the Queen but you can’t save us."
