WATCH: Furry Friday - Baby white lion cubs explore their new habitat

It's been an exciting week at Toronto Zoo, as their newest additions made their first public appearance in a video released on YouTube.

Eight weeks ago the Canadian Zoo welcomed four extremely cute and extremely rare white lion cubs.

The little white lions were born on September 26 and 27 to their exhausted mother Makali.

Doctors advised that the first 30 days of their life were crucial and after receiving extra special care they are all reportedly in excellent health.

The public cannot yet view the gorgeous fluffy fellows in the zoo as they are still resident in the lion's habitat maternity ward.

The heart warming video which has been viewed 50,000 times sees them excitedly exploring their surroundings.

The white lion gets its unusual coat as a result of a rare color mutation.

However, they are the same species as the familiar African Lion.
