A video of a man in a wheelchair with his adopted, paralysed puppy has gone viral with over 300,000 hits.
The video is by the Kleenex brand, and tells the story of a golden retriever with two paralysed back legs.
The text reads "nobody wanted him" and the video goes on to show that his new owner, a man in a wheelchair, has given the puppy a new lease of life.
'Chance' was hit by a car and left for dead. He was saved from being euthanised by San Antonio Pets Alive, where his future owner Michael and his wife met him.
"My husband said we had to get him because nobody is going to love him like we're going to love him", Michael's wife told the cameras.
Michael said:"He's my best friend. When he's in a chair and we're running down the street together, he feels free - it's easy to relate".
"I knew his struggles as well as mine. I knew we could overcome these obstacles together".
"The difference Chance makes in my life is the happiness".
"He knows we have no restrictions. There isn't anything we can't do".
The canine, who is now an adult dog, is shown running around with his own doggy wheelchair and even going on a boat with his owner.
The video has been viewed over 300,000 times. Watch below.
