A moooving story : Meet Goliath, the cow who's convinced he's a dog
We all wish that we were somebody else sometimes.
So spare a thought for Goliath, the young calf who yearns to be a dog and has created quite a stir on social media.
His owner posted a heartwarming picture of Goliath on Twitter last week with the caption : "My cow thinks he’s a dog…we left the door open for 5 minutes."
The photo shows Goliath, curled up on the couch, doing his utmost to resemble a dog relaxing after a hard day's work.
He even has the "I know I'm not supposed to sit up here but...." look down to a tee.

Other canine traits exhibited by Goliath include wolfing down dog food and asking to be scratched under his chin.
Shaylee Hubbs told Country Life Magazine that she rescued Goliath soon after he was born as he was very underweight and unwell.

He has lived with her and Denny, a Great Dane in Northern California ever since.
In order to protect Goliath from prowling coyotes and mountain cats Shaylee installed a playhouse in her back garden for the calf to sleep in.

Even though he has rarely been inside the house he knew exactly what to do in order to appear completely at ease on the couch.
Shaylee's post has gone viral with 32,000 re-tweets and 54,000 likes.
Goliath, don't ever change. You're the cutest cow-dog we've ever seen.
