The bestselling writer's 12th book, The Marble Collector, is due to be released on October 29.

Cecelia posted photos revealing a colossal pile of 3,000 copies of the novel that she was preparing to autograph.

She also jokingly reclined on a pile of books claiming that she needed a rest as she was halfway through the process.

"3000 books at your service. Hope they find happy homes," she quipped.

The Marble Collector tells the story of Sabrina, a young woman who discovers a collection of marbles amongst her father's possessions.

She realises that two of the most precious marbles are missing, and this leads her on a journey of discovery about her father.

Cecelia has to date sold over 24 million copies of her books worldwide.

She is now published in almost 50 countries and two of her books, PS I Love You and Where Rainbows End have been adapted for the big screen.
