The world's first 'million dollar' coin can be bought has become available for sale in Ireland and the UK after Irish gold brokers GoldCore secured exclusive selling rights.
Five of the highly valuable coins were minted by The Royal Canadian Mint in 2007 and now one of them is up for grabs.
Each coin weighs 100 kilograms and is made up of 99.99pc of pure gold.
The coin is decorated by a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt on one side and a hand-polished maple leaf is on the reverse, designed by Stan Witten.
All five coins are currently owned by private collectors with their value not just lying in its gold content but also its rarity.
