Troubled VW's production fear

Volkswagen production at four German factories is at risk of disruption amid a legal dispute with a supplier, adding to the carmaker's woes as it struggles to resolve its 11-month-old diesel-emissions cheating scandal.
Employees at a plant in Emden that makes the Passat sedan and wagon began working shortened hours on Thursday, and VW said it might have to make similar reductions at sites in Zwickau and Braunschweig.
The carmaker is also looking at implementing flex-time at parts of the main plant in Wolfsburg.
