RECKITT Benckiser, the household products and drugs group, said annual profits jumped, boosted by emerging markets, in the first set of results under its new chief executive.
The Anglo-Dutch maker of Dettol surface cleaners and Nurofen pain relief pills said net profit rose 11pc to €1.745bn last year, compared with 2010.
Turnover swelled by 12pc to €9.49bn, boosted by the group's so-called "powerbrand" products that include Air Wick air fresheners, Finish dishwasher products and Strepsils throat lozenges.
