A man who stole over one hundred iPhones at the Coachella music festival was caught after revellers traced their phones using the Find My iPhone feature.

According to police in California, festival attendees followed Reinaldo De Jesus Henao around until security at the event detained him.

Following his arrest, more than one hundred iPhones were found in Henao’s backpack.

The LA Times reports that the 36-year-old was arrested of grand theft and stolen property.

Police advised that several phones were returned to their owners while the remainder were placed in the festival’s lost and found area.

Officials also advise using “dummy wallet” to confuse potential thieves and to spread valuables about your person instead of keeping them in one place.
