DOMINO'S Pizza has reported a 3.4pc increase in Irish sales and a 10.8pc rise in the UK.

Sales were driven by wet weather at the beginning of 2014, the company said today.

Online sales also grew, the company said, with 69.4pc of UK turnover new coming via the internet.

Back in February, the firm reported a 1.9pc growth in pre-tax profit to £47.6m as well as heavy costs, however, related to expansion into the German market.

The company is hoping to turn the business around in the German market into a more lucrative franchise one during the first half of 2014.
