Crude oil higher on back of Euro summit hopes
CRUDE prices inched higher in Asia today ahead of Europe’s key debt summit.
New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in December, was up 27 cents to $93.44 a barrel.
Brent North Sea crude for December delivery gained 37 cents to $111.29.
But all eyes were on the meeting of European leaders later this evening, after they had promised on Sunday to reveal more concrete details of their battle plan to ease the euro zone's debt woes.
