Aer Lingus rises as board discusses cost savings target

Aer Lingus rose as much as 5pc in Dublin as the company’s board meets to discuss ways to achieve a cost-savings target.
Separately, the carrier reported an operating loss, before exceptional items, of €81m.
The stock advanced as much as 3 cents to 63 cents in Dublin and traded at that level at 8:05am.
