UPC no more: operator rebrands as Virgin Media

UPC Ireland’s operations, products and services will be rebranded under the name Virgin Media from next Monday, October 5.
Virgin Media also announced that it will introduce a mobile service that will offer customers unlimited data, calls and texts.
The company said that it would be offering customers three months of its unlimited mobile package for free and for a fee of €25 from thereafter.
With the unveiling of its new mobile service Virgin will now have a four-way offering for customers that will allow them to pay for broadband, landline, mobile and digital TV in a single bundle.
