Thule Crossover backpack is worth splashing out on
Thule Crossover backpack
I'm not a bag man. Having said that, I do like small backpacks that allow transportation of a laptop, pair of headphones, notepad and one other item (which are my 'business tools', in case you were wondering about the bag's relevance to its categorisation).
The trick is to get a bag that's small enough and yet doesn't endanger the gadgets you're ferrying. Thule's Crossover backpack ticks most of the boxes, with crush-proof compartments for a laptop (up to 15 inches), a tablet, a phone and a couple of other minor items.
It's not as slim as I'd like, and the huge 'THULE' branding on it is a little awkward. It's also pricey enough at €100. But give me one of these over a crappy €19.99 mála that leaves your equipment scratched and scuffed to bits.
