Titanfall 2 could be out this winter
Titanfall 2 could be out this winter, according to toymaker McFarlane who is releasing a range of tie-in toys for the game.
EA has been cagey regarding Titanfall 2's release date, only going as far as to say that it'll be released sometime between April 2016 and April 2017. But that window may have been narrowed significantly thanks to a toymaker.
McFarlane released details about its upcoming product range, which includes Titanfall toys. The press release indicates that the toys will be out at the same time as the game, while the product page indicates that they'll be out in winter 2016.
The toymaker's press release says, "In the 2014 smash-hit Titanfall, players wage war against their rival factions as both agile pilots, and armored 20-foot mechs known as Titans. The hotly anticipated Titanfall 2 will deliver the frantic action fans have come to love, plus dramatically charged cinematic moments through all-new memorable characters."
"The upcoming Titanfall figures will be a part of McFarlane's bold new 2016 Collector Box Program. Each figure will stand seven inches tall, have an average of fifteen points of articulation for incredible poses and play action and feature screen accurate accessories and weapons. The figures will boast the same meticulous level of detail that McFarlane has become known for over the last two decades."
EA has responded to this information, but reaffirmed that it's yet to announce a Titanfall 2 release date.
