The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is back in a new high definition form and ready to launch on the Wii U with Amibo stuff
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is back, and now it's HD.
Originally released on the Wii console in 2006, the game follows the familiar form of Link, who is out and about trying to stop the kingdom of Hyrule from being taken over by the Twilight Realm. He enlists the help of a myserious spirit called Midna and goes forth adventuring, sometimes as a wolf for some reason.
The game has been feted as one of the best Zelda titles ever, and we would have to agree with that assessment. And if you missed out on it almost a decade ago now you can play the game in HD form on the Wii U. Here the launch trailer.
The remaster has must improved graphics as well as all new Amibo support where you can scan in real-life figurines from the Zelda world to gain access to extra stuff - including an all new level. You'll also be able to sync some of your progress over to the upcoming new Zelda game which is due some time in 2016.
Twilight Princess HD is on Wii U on the 4th of March 2016.
